Studying Christian Life in Spanish Prison

No one is ever too far from God. Even while in prison God can change people’s hearts and give them a new life. The director of Global University in Spain sent us this story. This man’s name has been removed for his privacy and protection.

“I always dreamed of being truly happy. I tried everything but felt incomplete like I was missing something. Being so dissatisfied with life led me down a road of sin. I am a father of two and was held captive by a deep drug addiction. Because of the damage I caused, my friends and family hated me. Some of them even wished I would die.

I lost almost everything and ended up in prison.

But while in prison, I had a personal encounter with Jesus.I began studying the Christian Life Series from Global University.

I learned about what Jesus has done for me, and I made Him the Lord over all that I am. Now, thanks to King Jesus, I am spiritually free and owe everything to Him. Hallelujah, Praise His Holy Name!

Today, at 27 years old, I have been able to reconcile with my loved ones through Jesus. Now they serve the Lord as well. Jesus has also shown me what true happiness is. I believe there is no greater happiness and joy than to follow his will for my life. Even though I sit in prison today, I am happy knowing that I am wrapped in his arms.

I thank the Lord for putting Christian Life Series from Global University in my path. Through this series, I can study and continue to learn more about Jesus, and He speaks to me through them. Not only that, but Glory to God, I am able to use this series to share Jesus with my fellow prisoners and my children. They are able to see how God changes and gives people new life in Him

Thanks to the lessons, the Holy Spirit, and you, now I can continue to grow, feel free, and be happier.”

What a powerful testimony! Even while in prison, being completely dissatisfied with life, this Spaniard had a true encounter with Jesus. Not only is he studying curriculum from Global University, but he is also active in the ministry where he is at.

Isn’t it awesome how people are finding Jesus in prison because of Christian curriculum!? This testimony is an example of how being a ministry partner with a missionary changes lives. After all, this is what the great commission is all about…Making disciples.
