June Missions Update!!!

Now that summer has hit, kids are out of school, and it seems like life is getting busier. We are working harder than ever to raise our budget to go back to Spain. $3100 is what we have left to raise in recurring monthly support. Currently, we are at 67% of our monthly budget. Due to traveling expenses going up, our cash budget has been increased by $5000. We need to raise 100% of our budget quickly to help more people like Juan.

Juan is studying Christian Service at Global University. Every time he sends in an assignment, he changes his name. When asked about it, he shared his story. “I grew up in Colombia. One day I was approached by a gang of guerilla soldiers, and they convinced me to join them. While with this gang, I did detestable things that even I knew were wrong. I wanted to leave the gang, but they wouldn’t let me and threatened to kill me. So one day, I jumped on a plane and escaped to Spain. As I started my new life, God showed himself to me. Now I believe in Jesus as my savior. I really wanted to grow in my newfound faith, so I contacted Global University to get Bible courses in Spanish. I thank God for saving me and for the courses at Global University. These courses are helping me grow in the Lord and helping me serve him better. Global University is a great blessing to my life.” Juan continues to keep his identity a secret for safety, and his name has been changed for this story.

1 Peter 3:15 says, “You must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.”

Like Juan, you and I have already chosen to put Christ as Lord of our lives, and have learned how to share about our hope in Jesus. (You can hear my answer for the hope I have in Jesus by listening to The Grafted Podcast). Now it's time for us to build up the next generation of church leaders and workers. Helping them to always be ready to explain their hope in Christ.

If you haven’t already, will you please consider becoming one of our ministry partners that prays for us, and helps financially sustain our ministry on a monthly basis?
