Wrapping Up 4 Years in Spain

A Season of Gratitude & Transition

It is hard to believe, but we are wrapping up our four-year term here in Spain! Our hearts overflow with gratitude for your incredible partnership that made this season possible. We have grown deep roots here and will greatly miss the cross-denominational ministry, the Global team, and working alongside Spanish pastors and lay ministers to grow the Church. A beautiful highlight of this term—and even these last few weeks—was visiting several churches to celebrate Global University Evangelism and Discipleship graduations.

We will deeply miss our community, the Christian school our children attend, the coffee, the vibrant local festivals, and the unique rhythm of life in Spain, where people are always placed far above work. As we head to the States for one year to raise funds and inspire the next generation of missionaries, we are comforted to know that we will be returning to the exact same ministry and school when our term is up.

Our Next Chapter & Prayer Requests

This upcoming year will be a unique adventure for our boys. Because we’ve been here so long, they aren’t very familiar with American culture, and our youngest barely remembers the United States at all! We look forward to reintroducing them to the States, seeing how American ministries have grown, and reconnecting with the family, friends, and pastors we have missed terribly over the last several years (plus enjoying a few American treats!).

Please partner with us in prayer during this transition:

  • For the Transition: Pray for smooth logistics and peace for the kids as they adjust to a brand-new culture.

  • For Fruitfulness: Pray that our time in the States bears much fruit—both in raising financial support and in inspiring hearts for global missions.

  • For Osito: Pray that the weather is cool enough in Madrid and in Dallas for our dog, Osito, to be able to fly back with us.
